The Olympics Ch. 35 The Forbidden and the Bloody

      Kiku smiled and waited for the cheers, whistles, and clapping to stop. Then he calmly spoke into the microphone. "Up next is... where did he go?"
      Kiku walked over to where Ivan was standing. He looked down(a bit) at him and covered the microphone. "Where's Yao?"
      When Ivan glanced at his side, Yao was gone.
      "Huh?"
      He looked around. Yao was definitely nowhere to be seen. Then suddenly his hand was grabbed and Ivan was dragged off.
      "Yao?"
      "We're next, you idiot! Here, put on your headpiece. The one with the butterfly wings. The blue ones. The red ones are mine..."
      As they finished getting ready Ivan heard Kiku speaking over the microphone. "The next song is going to be performed by Yao Wang, captain of the team representing China and Ivan Braginski, captain of the Russia team. They're going to sing a very popular song among our students, occasionally performed by our lovely Girl Demo band. It's called 'Magnet'. Instead of the Japanese version, they're going to sing an English fandub version performed by Amanda Lee and Annalie, or Aqua. Let's here it for them!"
      And to Ivan's embarrassment, they began singing.
      [AN (Author's Note): I'm going to use symbols for this one, 'kay. Here's the key so you know who sings what part. Yao sings the lines with the ~ sign and Ivan sings the lines with the = sign. Lines that have the * symbol are sung by both of them. Well, enjoy!]

     Everyone was going crazy by the time it was over. Ivan swore he heard Francis grumble something about hating forbidden love over the screams of the crowd. He and Yao quickly left the stage.

      A couple songs or so later~
       
      Kiku went back on stage to introduce the next song. He was holding his clipboard as usual and spoke into his microphone. "The next song is called 'Hide and Seek' sung by North Korea captain Ha-Neul Lee and South Korea captain Im Yong Soo. It's going to be sort of a play which explains the song. Hope you all enjoy it."
      After Kiku finished talking and left the stage, Ivan noticed that Im Yong Soo appeared to have placed a weird looking desk on the stage and hide underneath it. Since it had a solid back, you couldn't see him at all. Ha-Neul looked at the desk briefly before she began singing. While listening to Antonio translate it, all Ivan could think was, "Who would sing a song like that??"

[Ha-Neul acts as if she's searching for Im Yong Soo. He decides to hide behind the curtains nearby. When she checks under the desk, she looks slightly confused, then as she continues singing, she walks to the curtain)

[Ha-Neul suddenly pulled open the curtain where Im Yong Soo had decided to hide and appeared to have stabbed him. He gave out a shriek that made Ivan's blood run cold]

[As the song ends, Im Yong Soo stands up. The whole right side of his neck and parts of his left shoulder and arm are covered in fake blood]

      The crowd cheered on for them as they bowed and left the stage. Ivan glanced at Yao and asked him who would sing such a song. Yao didn't reply for a moment, then looked up at him.
      "You should have seen the Girl Demo Halloween concert last year. It was a lot worse for this song. Francis scared the living shit out of Arthur, who had not been expecting it. I don't know how to explain it well, but it was funny for everyone except Arthur."
      "Up next," Kiku said, interrupting Yao. "Is Maria Gonzalez with the song "Corazones Parrallelos."
